Diplomate American Board of Optometry
Dr. Scott Carlson has a history of excellence. He graduated in the top 10% at Kansas State University and Magna Cum Laude at top-ranked Oklahoma College of Optometry. His externship was at the renowned Hunkler Eye Center with an emphasis in eye medical and surgical protocols. He completed additional training at the Triad Eye Institute then managed over 1,000 procedures at the first Laser Eye Center in Oklahoma. He has since dedicated himself to bringing his extensive experience to private practice in Enid for 20 years.
Dr. Carlson is currently an American Board of Optometry Diplomate, a member of the American Optometric Association, Rotary International, served on the board for the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OOAP), and presided the Tulsa District OOAP.
Dr. Carlson and his lovely wife Kristie have a daughter, Kelby, and a son, Seth. They love supporting local school activities including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Enid’s Athletic Teams, music department, as well as their Oakwood Church Family. Dr. Carlson also enjoys activities with his family and friends including mountain biking, water sports, muscle cars, and woodworking.
